My Story (in brief)

1. Purchased item. Paid for recorded delivery to Spain.

2. Item faulty. Returned item.

3. Ross promised to replace item. Never received.

4. Asked him if posted the replacement recorded delivery or if he had proof of posting. Answer "No"

5. Then followed a long period of 'negotiation' and I initiated a PayPal dispute. Unfortunately because I was away from my home for three weeks over Christmas and did not reply to questions raised by PayPal they closed the dispute without resolution. (My fault!)

6. Still requiring a replacement item I continue to email Ross. He tells me he has been in touch with PayPal and we must communicate through them. I ask who is his contact in PayPal? (No answer) I inform him that as the dispute was now closed how can we communicate through them? (No answer)

7. I ask if he intends to refund me or replace the item? (No answer)

8. At this stage I search the www to find out if other people have had this sort of problem with his company. Lo and behold there is quite a few of us. So I decide to take the only action left available to me to 'get his attention'. I tell him if he does not replace or refund within a given time period I will publish a webpage discrediting his company. Guess what? This did get his attention! He accused me of blackmail. Upsetting his family. Threatening to destroy his livelyhood etc etc. My reply was... supply the item you owe me then!! AND, want it recorded delivery with the tracking details as proof of postage.

9. According to Ross the item was posted and he supplied a long reference number as proof of posting which I have no idea if it is genuine or not (a number without the carrier company name is of little use to anyone!)

10. You sorta know what I am going to say next.... nothing has arrived! So he gets this webpage as promised and hopefully loses some business for being a 'tea leaf'. I lose £62.
